SAVE MY SOUL (Gabriel & Dresden Bootleg Mix)
Kristine W
Kristine W is one of my favourite vocalists and I’m chuffed she performed at Big Queer Nation. Her latest release, Save My Soul, is nothing short of incredible. The Gabriel & Dresden Bootleg Mix is a purely emotional journey. Out on one of my favourite labels, Tommy Boy, this is a single not to be missed.
STRICT MACHINE (Calderone & Suryanto Mix)
Goldfrapp
This is my favourite track on the Goldfrapp album Black Cherry. The original is stunning 80s electro, and I have an extended version that I thrashed for months. This new release of the track features the Calderone & Suryanto Mix, which takes the track to new tribal, progressive heights.
LOVE REVOLUTION (Rosabel Anthem Vocal)
Pat Hodges
This is nine minutes of classic diva anthem, with a full choir thrown in for good measure. The gospel-oriented piano riff and feelgood lyrics are all the ingredients needed to get smiles on the dancefloor and the feet moving.
SUPERFABULOUS (Compufonic 12 Remix)
BT feat. Rose McGowan
BT is an old fave of mine. His new album Emotional Technology is a gem. This track is co-written by Rose McGowan of Charmed fame, and she sings on it and hasn’t got a half-bad voice. A fine mix of synth and electric guitar make for a great electro punk track.
WAITING FOR YOU (Burnin’ Thick D. Vocal)
Seal
Seal’s new album is a feast of hits and this track, the second single from the album, is one of the stand-out tracks. The Thick D. Vocal merges pop, funk and electric guitar to bring you a rockin’ hit.
