SSO 30th celebrations almost over

The year of celebrations to mark Sydney Star Observer’s 30 year in publishing is almost at a close.

The first batch of photos from Friday night’s Sweaty Sexy and Over-The-Top dance party at Arq are now online – we’ll be posting more over the course of the week.

The celebrations will round out on June 30 with a special cocktail party for our shareholders – the very people who ensured the paper remained in community ownership – at the Supper Club.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of those people who have had some involvement in the paper in the last 30 years for their contribution. A big thanks to all our advertisers and an especially big thanks to all our readers for making us the oldest and most successful gay and lesbian newspaper in the southern hemisphere.
