Stars come out to support gay Russia

ricky-martin-hrcCelebrities such as Wentworth Miller, Ricky Martin, Kirsten Bell, Jonah Hill and many more are involved with the America’s largest gay rights organisation the Human Rights Campaign standing together to send a message to Russia and it’s anti gay laws. The stars have all started wearing a Russian-langue version of their the organisations iconic “Love Conquers Hate” t-shirt to show support for the gay community in Russia.

For this campaign run by the HRC, the stars will not only snap a picture of themselves wearing the special Russian-language version of the shirt, but also share it on social media and then ask their fans and followers to do the same.

It was only in June that the Russian government introduced the anti-gay propaganda law to the country that prohibits any public gesture or support of the LGBTI community.
