US Senator rips hypocrites over civil unions bill
A civil unions bill has been approved in the US state of Illinois in a 32-24-1 vote, with the Governor promising to sign the bill into law.
One of the more remarkable moments of the debate came when Iliinois Senator Ricky Hendon raised the hypocrisy of adulterers, womanizers, and ‘brothers’ on the down low who said they’d vote against the civil union bill. Watch the inspiring speech below.
