WE’RE DYING ALONE – NIK LONE
As expected with a title like We’re Dying Alone, queer Melbourne singer-songwriter Nik Lone’s latest single isn’t exactly an upbeat affair. But there’s a real beauty to this plaintive Beatle-esque gem, Lone’s vocals going from hushed to soaring several times in the space of three and a half minutes, never overpowering the lush string arrangement.
