I’m an imposter?

I’m an imposter?

Most of you on my email mailing list would be well aware of my recent, ahem, trip to Malaysia.

I would like to clarify once and for all that my email was hacked -” yes through my own stupidity, and some bastard from overseas took over my account!

For those who were concerned by this email -” thank you. For those who did nothing but laugh -” I hope it happens to you, and you get stuck in Malaysia following your seminar focused on global business opportunity and economic stability for the future generations! Thank Christ for my PA Gracie Lou who saved the day -” and my account is back online.

If being attacked on Hotmail wasn’t enough, Facebook has now deleted me again. Clearly 2009 is not the year of the computer for me. If my Adult Friend Finder or RSVP profile gets deleted I am going to have to kill myself!

My online life being in tatters has left me time to do other things -” like Pollys. Finally, after over 40 years I have become a Pollys member. My first night as a committee member was a hoot and the hall was packed to the rafters. I met a new man who is now stalking me, plus I got to wash up all the dishes -” what more could a girl ask for?!

In other news, there has been gossip flying around that the Three Sisters Wild Wild West Costume Ball on June 7 was looking shaky with huge staffing dramas going on at the York Fairmont Resort. We have now had confirmation that all will still go ahead as planned. Over 95 percent of the tickets have been sold -” so get in quick.

Don’t forget the Disco and Talent Quest on Saturday 6 June. This will be a ripper -” even without me as host (there were monetary restraints)! Another community hall packed tight with queers, all sweating like cornered virgins in the blistering body heat. The talent quest will present the year’s up-and-comers -” hopefully this year they will know how to walk in heels!

For more information about the Three Sisters June long weekend events, please call 02 8230 0889.

Also coming up in June is the Heaven Social Group charity fundraiser for the Western Suburbs Haven. With a host of drag performers, it will be a night of camp entertainment and music -” all for a great cause. All proceeds after costs will go directly to the Western Suburbs Haven, so come along and show your support for this wonderful charity on Saturday 20 June at the Northmead Bowling Club.

I would also like to extend my sincere best wishes to all those mourning the loss of David Hiscock. I have many fond memories of him, including from when I first performed at the Newtown Hotel. He was so sweet to me -” he told me to get up there and have fun, and that if I had fun then everyone would love it! Thank you, David, for your words -” I did have fun, and in you

I also found a truly kind man.

Until next time, gorgeous!

  1. I am glad you posted about the malaysian seminar Bev – I was actually concerned when I got the email today allegedly from a client of mine asking me to send $2,400!

I guessed it was a scam but you have set my mind to rest.
Thanks again and best wishes from London

  2. A great read Beverly! Sorry to hear about the hacking, The Three Sisters Ball looks to be a fabulous event. Vale David Hiscock, the community mourns your passing.
