Chief Executive of the Saints, Matt Finnis, said his club is committed to championing LGBTI pride in the AFL.
The Saints have spoken out against the widely criticised language used on last night’s episode of The Footy Show.
The third annual Pride Cup is set to take place this month as a way to highlight homophobia in sport and push for LGBTI inclusion and diversity in Aussie rules football.
The match will be the first of its kind ever held during the AFL’s premiership season, and will be aired nationally on TV.
