Dragon roars in winter

Dragon boating is currently in the off-season but the Different Strokes Club is keeping its paddles in the water in order to stay on top of the competition when it starts in September.

The gay and lesbian club will train at Blackwattle Bay in Pyrmont every Sunday at 10am.

We are a new club and we want to keep training through the winter months, so when we start the new season we are ahead of the eight-ball, acting Different Strokes president Alastair Paterson said.

It’s an ideal time for new paddlers to join us and try out a fun sports club for all ages and levels of fitness.
