From Toronto, with politics
From contributing to a book on transgender politics to playing for the Canadian Consul, there’s not a lot the members of Ember Swift haven’t done.
The trio, made up of Ember Swift (pictured left), Lyndell Montgomery (right) and Adam Bowman, have a new album Disarming out on Shock Records and are currently touring the Australia’s folk, blues and roots festivals.
They’re also performing one show only in Sydney, at @Newtown, Enmore Road, Newtown, on Wednesday 30 March from 9pm.
Tickets are $20 on the door, or one lucky Sydney Star Observer reader can grab a double pass for free, as well as a signed copy of Disarming and a personal introduction to Ember. Email [email protected] by Tuesday 29 March to be in the running.
