Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Association is again on the brink of voluntary administration, after the abrupt withdrawal of a $400,000 private loan that was set to prop up the ailing organisation.
After a day of frantic meetings the board last night gave itself one final 24-hour reprieve before it made a final call on the Association?s future.
“We’re obviously doing everything we can to secure a loan that will save the organisation and we’ve given ourselves until 5pm tomorrow,” Regan told Sydney Star
