Stingers raise $12,000
The Sydney Stingers water polo side will head to the Cologne Gay Games later this year bouyed by massive community support.
The club’s trivia night fundraiser at Paddington RSL on Friday night – which featured a surprise swimwear fashion show – raised $12,000 for the team.
The trivia night was held to help the side raise enough cash to send a second team to the German games.
