Queer and oh-so-camp unsigned Sydney pop singer Lucas Brenton has just released his new, heavily Britney and Gaga-indebted single, a follow-up to last year’s Party Trick. Produced and written by Jean Paul and Alexander Makhlouf from the band Cash Ca
sh and co-written by Brenton, the song’s verses are marred by cliched couplets of the ‘VIP, drinks on me’ variety. All is forgiven, though, when that addictive chorus explodes — a couple of listens and you won’t be able to dislodge it from your head. Definitely worth seeking out for fans of pure, sugary dance pop.
