The NT Department of Education has written to more than 150 government schools to confirm that the program will continue.

The funding will include $3 million a year to target ‘hidden populations’ such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, who currently have the highest rate of new infections.
The grants support local organisations to respond to some of the most pressing issues facing people living with HIV including testing, stigma, and treatment.
Minister for Health Cameron Dick said there was no doubt the vote and surrounding campaign would impact the mental health of some vulnerable LGBTI people.
“Restoring less than half of the funding needed to adequately run the organisation is insulting at best and negligent at worst”
