The Pollys Club, one of Australia’s longest-running LGBTQI social nights, will celebrate its 55th birthday with a fabulous ‘Drag-a-ganza’ dance this Saturday July 20.
“Our United Front is unique in its inclusive messaging and visibility of LGBTQ community members, including trans and gender diverse people.”
The 2019 reception will be followed by a rainbow flag raising ceremony, a flag that will be flown for the remained of Sydney’s Mardi Gras celebrations.
The festival will be called ‘Welcome to Breastiville’ and will help to increase the visibility of LBQ women in Australia.
“I don’t think we can underestimate how lovely it is, the goodwill in the room when everyone comes together”
This year, the symbol of the LGBTI community will fly from four times as many Sydney town halls as 2014.
