Bent explores love

It’s one of the most iconic gay plays of all time. Martin Sherman’s Bent will run at the Belvoir St Downstairs Theatre this Mardi Gras. Opening on Thursday, February 18, this truthful and powerful drama moves from the decadence of 1930s Berlin to the cruel excesses of the Nazi concentration camps. Directed by Pete Nettell and staring Wil Traval, the play explores how love can overcome the most brutal circumstances.
