Live music hits Melbourne Zoo

The Melbourne Zoo Twilights series is on again this summer and queer audience favorite, the wonderful Wendy Matthews is set to croon among the critters this Saturday, January 15.

Matthews will be supported by Melbourne’s The Hello Morning band and followed on Sunday night by Susi Tate who plays P!nk in The Pink Show – a tribute to the much-loved US pop star and lesbian icon.

Now a fixture on the summer calendar, this season’s Twilights line up includes Leo Sayer, Daryl Braithwaite, James Reyne, Ross Wilson, Ian Moss, Diesel, Dragon, Pseudo Echo and Nick Barker.

Popular tribute acts Babba and The Australian Queen Show will also be featured during the series.

Zoo Twilights will be held every Saturday and Sunday evening until March 13.

Gates open at 5.30pm and concerts start at 7pm.

Cost $38 adults, $30 concession, and $20 for children.
