Jodie Harsh for Mardi Gras Party and new singers added to Harbour Party line-up

UK music producer and DJ Jodie Harsh has been announced as the latest act in the official Mardi Gras Party line-up next weekend.

Harsh (pictured) joins the USA’s Kim Ann Foxman and Derrick Carter and France’s Leomeo, as well as Australia’s Courtney Act, Tina Arena, Samantha Jade, and a plethora of other DJs for the party line-up at Moore Park.

Harsh’s career includes performing at the famous Glastonbury Festival, as well as DJ sets in New York, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Milan, Singapore and Ibiza, where she played alongside Swedish House Mafia at Pacha.

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras have also confirmed three new performers to this weekend’s Harbour Party line-up: Scottish songstress Mary Kiani, as well as Aussie performers Shauna Jensen and Bob Downe.

The three will perform separate shows on the day and join DJs Joey Negro, Paul Goodyear and GI Jode in the line-up.

Kiani has been a singer since the 90s and has since become an LGBTI scene identity. Her best-known hit is I Imagine.

Bob Downe is an Australian TV celebrity known for is over-the-top camp interpretations of well-known songs, while The Voice Australia alumni Shauna Jensen has appeared on the main stage at Mardi Gras several times and has also performed at gay parties around Australia and the globe.

Harbour Party tickets have officially sold out online and can now only be purchased physically from retailers Aussie Boys and Bang Clothing – both in Sydney’s Oxford St precinct.
