Haircuts and cocktails at gay supper
Haircuts, cocktails and online gourmet food will be on offer at the next Sivilised Supper at Ziggy’s Barber Salon on Saturday, October 22.
The supper is the latest of seven dinners organised by LGBTI events group Points of Difference.
“Following the success of our last event in an art gallery, we wanted something special for our next offering,” Points of Difference founder Adam Bold said.
For an all-inclusive price of $114.99, attendees can get a haircut at Ziggy’s while sampling a selection of gourmet food from online food store www.CookAndKitchen.com.au owned by local gay businessman James Wright.
On arrival guests will receive a specially selected Monopolowa Vodka cocktail whose ingredients were also chosen by CookAndKitchen.com.au
Music will be provided by DJ Murray Hood.
A modern ‘old school’ barber shop with a retro fit-out, Ziggy’s Barber Salon offers affordable cutting-edge fashion haircuts but can also give you a buzz cut or an old-fashioned razor shave.

Support the Star Observer… while you still can
LGBTQIA+ media is under threat. Queer content is censored by tech conglomerates who amplify bigotry and push out AI slop — so we receive less financial support than ever.
When our community is muzzled and intolerance intensifies, we need queer media more than ever. Your donation means we can continue paying queer journalists to write queer news.
Don’t rely on the straight lies of big tech – support Star Observer instead and donate now.
