A mid-week chill out

A mid-week chill out

If your working week is stressing you out, why not check in and chill out at the Sydney Gay Meditation Group for either of their free weekly meditation sessions.

The group, which is not specific to any religion or meditation technique, is open to all GLBT and GLBT-friendly people who are interested in spiritual development.

On Monday evenings from 7pm, the group hosts a silent meditation session – 45 minutes of silent, unguided meditation in which participants are free to practice any form of meditation, with no instruction provided.

Those who need a little more help exploring meditation should head to the Thursday 7pm sessions, where 15-25 minutes of guided meditation is followed by that other great de-stresser, some social drinks at the local pub!

Both sessions are held at Meditation Space, 99 Crown St, East Sydney, next to City Gym.

Support the Star Observer… while you still can

LGBTQIA+ media is under threat. Queer content is censored by tech conglomerates who amplify bigotry and push out AI slop — so we receive less financial support than ever.

When our community is muzzled and intolerance intensifies, we need queer media more than ever. Your donation means we can continue paying queer journalists to write queer news.

Don’t rely on the straight lies of big tech – support Star Observer instead and donate now.
