Havaianas throws down the challenge

The sixth annual Havaianas Thong Challenge is set to take over Bondi Beach on Australia Day 2011.

Now firmly established as a ‘must do’ event on the Australia Day calender, the challenge pits state against state in a battle to see who can get the most participants in the water.

So if you feel like spending January 26 riding an inflatable thong – and let’s fact it, who doesn’t? – it’s time to register.

For $25 you get a giant Havaianas thong and the satisfaction of knowing that you’re helping NSW reclaim its rightful crown from Western Australia.
