HIV Q&A gets social
A new social media campaign is seeking to connect the LGBTI community with experts in HIV/AIDS.
Using the online platform Tumblr, Ask An Expert allows people to post anonymous questions about everything from HIV transmission to viral load, which are then responded to by Australian experts.
The initiative is open to the wider community as well, with anyone curious about issues related to HIV/AIDS invited to participate.
The campaign was started by the AIDS Council of South Australia and is being supported by the HIV/AIDS Legal Centre and the Kirby Institute.

Anti-LGBTQIA+ sentiment is growing, algorithms are censoring queer content, and AI slop replacing credible journalism has affected web traffic to all news outlets.
In the face of countless obstacles, we’re asking for your support.
