Big red balls to drop

There are still some tables left for this Friday’s Big Red Bingay at Paddington RSL.

One of the major fundraisers on the AIDS Awareness Week calendar, Big Red Bingay will be hosted by the marvellous Mitzi Macintosh and her ever-trusty sidekick Miss Naomi.

Always a great night out, Friday night’s event has the added advantage of helping raise money to provide essential health services to people in NSW with HIV.

ACON events co-ordinator David Wilkins said watching the balls drop at Bingay is always a fun night out.

“Sydney loves Bingay,” Wilkins said. “In fact Bingay has raised almost $1 million dollars over the last 10 years for ACON’s work in the community.

“The money we raise from this special Red Ribbon edition of Big Bingay will help fund a range of essential health promotion services for people in NSW who are living with HIV.

“By helping us raise money, Bingay players become a part of our team by helping us to help others.

“So I would encourage people to get along to Big Red Bingay and help us make a real difference in the lives of people in our community.”
