Deep Cuts 2 – Queen

Only a few short months after Queen’s first Deep Cuts CD comes this, another collection of lesser-known singles and album tracks that casual fans won’t find on the usual greatest hits compilations. This 14-track collection takes in the band’s 1977-82 era, and as with the first CD, it’s an odd proposition: surely anyone eager to investigate beyond Queen’s biggest hits would head straight for their studio albums?
No matter, though, because it’s a diverse collection, with tracks pulled from four of the band’s strongest album – plus one campy early-’80s gem from the Flash Gordon soundtrack.
