Major community care provider Care Connect has appointed Queensland Association for Healthy Communities executive director Paul Martin as its new national LGBTI Project Officer, to help aid their efforts to provide services to the LGBTI community.

Martin will help the organisation provide its services for people in the LGBTI community, of which many have specific needs and support.

“Paul brings with him a wealth of expertise and experience gained through 20 years of work and volunteering with LGBTI and HIV communities,” Care Connect CEO Paul Ostrowski said.

“His credibility, knowledge and networks will help drive greater engagement with LGBTI communities across the country including providing insight and support into policy at a national level.”

Care Connect offers services within New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria to support senior Australians live independently at home and in the community.
