Ben Riethmuller was crowned Laird Leatherman for 2012 last Friday night at the AWOL festival’s leather and fetish competition.

Riethmuller, 38, won the title over four other contestants at the Laird Hotel, replacing 2011 Laird Leatherman Luke Moo

Reitmuller told the Star Observer he was looking forward to the role.

“I’m still a bit stunned to be Laird Leatherman 2012, particularly since my fellow competitors were amazing men and any of us could have won the title,” he said.

He said Moon had left some big shoes to fill but knew he would have his support throughout the year.

Moon told the audience he had loved every minute while he was Laird Leatherman.

“You have made my title year the success that it is,” he said.

Avi Miller came runner-up on the night.

A Week Of Leather and fetish (AWOL) finished on Sunday, August 11.
