A little taste of France
After the unanticipated worldwide success of Nouvelle Vague’s eponymous debut album, the group has decided to play at the Metro Theatre on Saturday 1 March.
Keeping to the original concept – re-arranging the greatest 80s post-punk numbers – the band will reevaluate music that was seldom considered in terms of real songs at the gig.
The arrangements and orchestrations of each song are all very colourful with a lot of percussion and acoustic guitars.
The songs are also topped off with sensual, feminine voices, accordions, and steel drums.
On turntable on the night will be DJ $oloal from the Gotan Project and Flip Wauters on pedal steel guitar.
