Bear of the year crowned
A full house watched Alan Cadogan (pictured right) take out the title of Mr Harbour City Bear 2012 at the Oxford Hotel’s Supper Club on Saturday night.
Harbour City Bears (HCB) president John Carayannis congratulated the winner and said the night had been a success.
“This is the first year we’ve had both the judges and audience involved in scoring,” Carayannis told the Star Observer.
“There was lots of praise for the change on the night, so we’ll look at continuing that again next year.”
During the event the HCB also presented mental health charity the Inspire Foundation with funds raised during the year.
