CoastOut back to the beach

Coffs Harbour gay and lesbian festival CoastOut is on again this October and organisers are starting to reveal who’s on the bill.

This year’s program will feature electro/pop acts Radio Ink and Sydney duo Garcon Garcon (pictured), while DJ Kate Monroe will hit the decks.

More acts will be announced in coming weeks, however, past headliners include comedian Bob Downe, former Bachelor Girl frontwoman Tania Doko and cabaret performer Carlotta.

Now in its third year, the northern NSW LGBTI coastal festival is swelling in popularity each year. The event offers festival-goers a range of entertainment including music, arts, parties and sporting activities.

The Unreal Surf Competition, the world’s only gay and lesbian surf competition, will return to the 2012 line-up as well as some new additions – a cake competition and a pet parade.

Earlybird tickets are already on sale and festival including a range ticket options from three-day passes, to travel packages from Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Registrations for the surf competition are available online now.

INFO: CoastOut will be held from 26–28 October. More at www.coastout.com.au
