Cocks in a frock on three rocks!

It’s that time of year again when all the Pricilla’s head to the mountains and enjoy the company of the three sisters over the Queens Birthday long weekend.

The Blue Mountains lights up with all the campness of Christmas as homos and dykes take over the mountains for the 27th year. From art exhibitions, to talent quests and the white winter glitter ball, what more could a queen desire besides warmer weather? A strong drink and a valium to cope with the chaos!

Bent Art’s 4th annual queer art exhibition will be running all weekend from Friday 6 June at the Katoomba Civic Centre. If you’re really lucky you’ll see my fabulous naked portrait – or maybe not, they probably don’t want to make patrons feel inadequate.

The disco on Saturday 7 June is set to be a corker. Hosted by myself and Tora Hymen we are expecting a disco and talent quest like no other. With contestants ranging from lesbians who can’t walk in heels, to chubby drag queens with no rhythm, there will no doubt be entertainment to amuse you all.

And lastly the white winter glitter ball on Sunday 8 June at $110 a pop -“ I won’t bother telling you about it -“ because it’s already SOLD OUT! So start saving those dollars for next year.

For those outdoorsy people who like to get in touch with (or is it touched in) nature there is the Blacktown Outdoors Group. With outings to bushy places like the Nurragingy Reserve and Parramatta Lakes it’s sure to be a time well spent. Be sure to pack a butch fellow to help you navigate your way there or in my case carry my bags.

If you want some action after the long weekend, then come to Heaven on Saturday 14 June 14 and help us celebrate our 1st birthday. With the decline in the number of venues in Western Sydney, the numbers of patrons have increased and we can finally start to party once more.
With special guests including Dan Knight, Melicious D’Amage, Ida Slapda and Gracie Lou the night should go off with a bang -“ especially if there are some more screaming tantrums like last month.

Drag Gossip: Do you know which drag queen recently under went lap band surgery in order to fit into her corsets once more because the diet didn’t work?

How about the baby drag queen is trying to nudge her competition out of a production show?
