The TAP Gallery Theatre’s latest production Hilda is a taut psychological thriller based around Australia’s struggle with workplace relations, illegal migration and the growing gap between rich and poor.
Written by French-Senegalese author Marie Ndiaye and directed by Jonathan Walk, who has turned this play into a mind-boggling production, it also tackles the human side of politics.
The storyline is set around a man struggling to support his family who meets a wealthy ex-socialist who needs a nanny for her children. His wife then ventures into her nightmare world.
It stars Jake Blundell and Susie Lindeman.
Tickets start at $20. Bookings on www.mca-tix.com or 1300 306 776. Details: www.tapgallery.org.au
