Gay hockey team strip for Europe
Bentstix, Sydney’s gay and lesbian field hockey club, is heading to the inaugural Pink Hockey Championships at Holland’s 2005 Euro Games to compete against an international field of queer competitors.
Bentstix is looking forward to reclaiming some glory from the Dutch team who won gold at the Sydney Gay Games.
The club is currently raising funds to get to the tournament, with a Harbour Cruise party planned for 13 November and a strip night (possibly featuring the naked team members pictured) at the Midnight Shift in February.
They are also looking for men and women players to take to Europe. Email Danny at bentstix@hotmail.com or visit http://users.bigpond.net.au/bentstix/default.htm for more information.
