Giant undies for the Aussie bum

Underwear label aussieBum has broken the world record for the largest pair of underpants.
Measuring 15 metres wide and weighing 180kg, the mammoth pair of men’s underpants is the size of a three-storey building.
The unveiling was scheduled to take place on The Guinness Book of World Records’ “World Record Day” two weeks ago, but the possibility of rain and wet knickers saw it delayed until last Thursday.
The unveiling took place at Sydney’s Royal Botanical Gardens with the help of 18 tall, buff and muscular models wearing aussieBum’s new range of underwear. Passers-by – including joggers and cyclists – were understandably distracted by the glorious sight.
aussieBum founder Sean Ashby said the giant undies project has been a fun experience.
“We’re thrilled at this new milestone in our company,” he said.
“While some may suggest that we are heading towards being the world’s biggest underwear company, we can now definitely confirm that we have, in fact, made the world’s biggest undies.”
The underpants were made from 300 metres of a lightweight fabric to make them easier to handle.
