Hed Kandi coming to Oz
London dance label Hed Kandi is heading to Sydney with resident DJ Miss Kelly Marie in tow.
Hed Kandi promises that the 1 July night, at Slide on Oxford Street, will be a fantastic production with heaps of sexy house.
Marie, who is also a resident at UK gay super club Trade@Turnmills, will be bringing along her distinctive soulful house sounds infused with Latin, Afro and electronic influences.
Marie spent last northern summer entertaining the hordes of Europeans who jet off to the Spanish party island of Ibiza.
When Marie is not on the decks she spends most of the time on the mats practising her martial arts.
She has won three world championships, is a member of the UK team and recently competed in Malaysia.
Organisers, however, have confirmed that she will not be practising her moves on the dancefloor.
