Hollywood royalty heading our way

Lorna Luft has always dreamt big and, following in the footsteps of her mother, the ultimate gay icon Judy Garland, she has made the stage her platform into the world of showbiz and stardom.

From the West End to the dazzling streets of Hollywood, she’s performed everywhere. Luft started her career at 16 with her mother at the Palace Theatre in New York and has flourished ever since.

In 2007, she appeared in two episodes of the 2007 LOGO animated series Rick & Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple In All The World.

On Friday 29 February, Luft will perform songs from her past career and her new album Songs My Mother Taught Me for one night only at the Factory Theatre in Enmore.

The show celebrates the music of her mother and Luft has a companion album coming out on Saturday 9 February.

Tickets are $55. Bookings on 95503666 or www.factorytheatre.com.au.
