It’s been over a decade since Grammy-nominated DJ Ti?o has been Down Under -“ but get ready to put your hands up and party because he’s coming to town this month.

Since 2002 he has been voted the World’s Number 1 DJ by DJ Magazine three consecutive times. His new album Elements of Life was released last year and it’s the title of his world tour.

It’s different from my past albums because you should see this one as a soundtrack to the Elements of Life World Tour, DJ Ti?o told SSO.

At the show you can expect a spectacular light show and special effects. I made the tracks to fit the elements and it’s a very different concept from before. My favourite songs to play are Carpe Noctum and Ten Seconds Before Sunrise.

But when it comes to playing a DJ set, he said that it’s all about the interaction with the crowd.

In general the crowd is pretty much the same wherever you go. People love to club and they come here for a reason. You need to feel what they want and they need to be on your lips, he said.

It’s important that you feel the music. It all about creating your own sound and style -“ it has to be energetic.
