Making a splash
One of this year’s most popular Sydney Festival acts is returning to the city in January 2008.
La Clique, a mélange of cabaret, burlesque, circus and contemporary vaudeville, will play The Famous Spiegeltent.
The sexy, funny and dangerous show sold out every ticket last year as word about the quality of the acts spread throughout the city.
This year The Famous Spiegeltent will be set up in Hyde Park North, with additional shows to cater for demand.
La Clique is playing from 6 January to 3 February. Shows Tuesday to Sunday are at 9.30pm and Thursday to Saturday 7.30pm and 9.30pm. Tickets start at $55 from Ticketmaster 1300 723 038 or www.sydneyfestival.org.au.
