NATIONAL ROWING CAMP
After the successful inaugural National Lesbian Rowing Camp, the Melbourne Argonauts Queer Rowing Club are hosting a weekend away for rowers from across Australia, from Friday 2 April until Sunday 4 April.

The Argonauts have a growing membership and compete at regattas. During the weekend away, their members will share information on rowing technique, health and fitness and preparation for regattas.
The camp is open to all rowers regardless of their home club. Rowers will need to get in quickly, as places are filling fast.

The Melbourne Argonauts row socially from the Powerhouse building at the south end of Albert Park lake on Saturday mornings with structured training throughout the week. Information on the club and its programs can be found at www.melbourneargonauts.com

FIGHTING FIT
Gay and lesbian martial artists from the GLMA group have had a big month.

As well as holding a demonstration at Mardi Gras Fair Day and performing in two-metre high cages at the Mardi Gras party, GLMA members won 13 trophies at the Australian Martial Arts Championships held at the State Sports Centre in Homebush.

The trophies were shared among 10 GLMA competitors. It was the biggest trophy haul for the group since their all-conquering performance at the 2002 Gay Games.
