Travelling queer club night to kick off in Sydney

Melbourne queer event producer, Natalie Fleur, is proud to bring club night Give Me Life to Ginger’s at the Oxford Hotel in Sydney on Friday 10 November.

Give Me Life will be an ongoing and travelling club night that is curated with a lineup of fabulous artists.

Fleur scours social media and taps into local opinion to find performers that will take the audience on a night-long journey that explores gender, dance, music, and fashion.

Guests are encouraged to celebrate themselves and come in their most resplendent finery, ready to dance the night away.

“I wanted a project that I could take on the road to curate and connect drag and music across the country—and maybe even the world one day,” Fleur said.

“Sydney seemed like the natural place to kick this off as every time I go there to produce an event, the crowd are so hungry to be entertained and there is so much talent on offer.

“Producing shows like this and giving experienced and new talent an equal opportunity to perform is how I hope to make a lasting impact on drag and a difference in the queer community.”

Performer etcetera etcetera (aka Oliver Levi-Malouf) said, “There’s nothing more affirming for me than being in a room of people celebrating their diversity and their beauty. Some people discount the power of clubs and parties to change people’s lives, but I’ve never felt more alive than when I’m making art surrounded by people singing their own special songs.”

Drag artist Trixxie Killder (aka Nathan Drinnan) said, “I am so excited that there is something new happening along Oxford Street that gives the community something different—when one door closes another opens.”

First release tickets are now sold out, but second and third release tickets are available via Eventbrite and will be available on the door if not sold out prior.
