The Luncheon Club founder Carole Ann King is after a new car to cart food around, attend fundraisers and travel between hospitals. After 14 years of use, the previous vehicle was tragically squashed at the wreckers last week. Carole Ann is happy for the car to be emblazoned with advertising to promote the generosity. Acon is running a workshop for the HIV negative partners of HIV positive gay men, beginning on 11 July. Called Opposites Attract, the workshop is six to eight weeks long, and offers HIV negative partners a space to talk to other men in similar situations. Topics covered include how the virus works, safer sex and communication. Places are limited, for more information call Rob on 9206 2106.
