Pollys Club grants open

The Pollys Club social group is offering grants of up to $2000 to support LGBTI community groups, with applications closing on June 1.

The Pollys Club is a non-profit organisation that raises money for charity through its social dances. The club has donated more than $250,000 to community charities since 1964.

Club members will select the organisations that receive the grants at its June meeting. Successful applicants will be invited to attend the Pollys’ annual birthday dance on Saturday, July 7 at the University of NSW’s Roundhouse, where they will receive their grant cheques.

To apply, download the application form from www.thepollysclub.com.au or call Kurt on 0403 778 110. Email the completed form to [email protected] or post it to the Pollys Club Inc, PO Box 404, Marrickville NSW 1475.

All applicants, successful or otherwise, will be notified by mail posted on June 17.

The Pollys Club is the oldest LGBTI social group in Australia, celebrating its 48th birthday this July.
