Rally protests Schwarzenegger gay marriage veto
Protestors opposed to California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s plans to veto a newly approved same-sex marriage bill were due to rally in Los Angeles’s gay heartland West Hollywood on Thursday night, US time.
West Hollywood City Council and local gay and lesbian groups organised the rally after Schwarzenegger announced he would veto a gay marriage bill that passed California parliament earlier in the week.
