Those not planning on hitting the scene this weekend might want to consider a rural getaway.
Stroud is just one hour from the Hunter Valley Vineyards and Newcastle and offers you the chance to breathe in some country air and revitalise your senses.
Telegherry, which incorporates Mingara Heavy Horse Stud and  Telegherry Estate Vineyards, is situated in the highly regarded Telegherry district, 5.25 kilometres north of Stroud.
It boasts all the rustic charms and historic features of yesteryear, but with the luxury of  modern accommodation and plenty of privacy and a secluded party area with hot tub.
The accommodation is situated just north-east of the homestead and overlooks the vineyard and Clydesdale paddocks. The undercover outdoor area is equipped with music, a bar area and alfresco dining.
The rooms feature queen-size beds with silk sheets, reverse-cycle air conditioning and electronic equipment. There are also full kitchen facilities.
