Submissions open for largest LGBT health conference
Contribute your knowledge to Australia’s largest GLBTI health conference, Health in Difference.
Submissions have opened for organisations, health practitioners and researchers wanting to present papers or interactive workshops during the three-day event, which runs from April 29 – May 1.
The conference for 2010 focuses upon five core themes: social inclusion, indigenous health, sex and gender diversity and the differences within diversity, the changing nature of community and politics and creating change.
Papers and presentations do not necessarily need to be on completed projects or research, but will hopefully encourage participation and discussion, The conference has been billed as the ultimate forum for debate and networking around the issues of GLBTI health, as well as an opportunity to showcase the most cutting edge work being done by practitioners in the field.
All submissions must be made via the web, and must be received no later than January 29.
