GET TOGETHER

FagTag and Bitch are joining forces to celebrate the Queen’s Birthday this Saturday 9 June at the Entertainment Quarter. Sneaky Sound System will be performing live with a six-piece band at The Forum. DJs include Alex Taylor, Kate Monroe, Chip, Neroli and more. Renae Stanton will also be performing live with TV Rock’s Nancy Vice and Kyla Sexton. There will be an outside stage with food stalls and a photo booth. The event runs from 6pm till 2am. Tickets start at $65 and can be bought from Moshtix.com.au and Hum Records. Part of the proceeds will go to ACON.

PINK TANK

This Sunday 10 June Tank nightclub will be turning gay for the holiday festivities. The event kicks off at 10pm and DJs include Alan Thompson, Tim Da Silva, Mark Murphy, Scott Pullen and Eddie Coulter, with Matt Sawyer on percussion. Tickets are $40+BF at The Toolshed and from www.samesame.com.au.

SCHOOL’S OUT

Homesexual will be throwing its annual long weekend party this Sunday 10 June from 10pm across four rooms at Home nightclub. The theme for the night is high school. DJs include Jayson Forbes, Terry Vietheer, Kitty Glitter, Dan Murphy and Shigeki. There will be a special 15-diva drag show starring Ashley Swift. FRIDAY FUN

Slinkee Minx will be performing hits from their debut album Electric Dreams including the new single Way Of Life this Friday 8 June at the Midnight Shift Club. Drag Queens Minnie Cooper and Kitty Glitter will be starring in their Immaculate Confessions production with go-go dancers Kane, Ashley and Antony. DJs include Dan Murphy, Greg Boladian and Jake Kilby. Doors open at 10pm. Cover charge is $5 before midnight and $15 after.

COMIC FUN

Slide Bar will hold a Superheroes night this Saturday 9 June. Features include floor fillers and dancing boys plus a special aerial show and two-for-one supercocktails from 8pm.
