The Asian Marching Boys (AMB) are looking for new members keen to take part in the Sydney Chinese New Year parade.

AMB spokesman Wayne Daly said it was a great opportunity to get involved in the popular group in the lead-up to next year’s Mardi Gras 30th anniversary celebration.

“It is being styled as a multicultural event to include all aspects of the lunar new year celebrations,” he said.

“We are looking for guys and girls from all nations to march with us in the parade on 10 February. This will lead into Mardi Gras, which is AMB’s 10th anniversary parade, and the 30th anniversary for Mardi Gras.

“The Chinese New Year Parade is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the many cultures and identities that comprise our wonderful community, while sending the message of harmony, inclusion and acceptance – and that is what AMB is all about.”
