US: Record GLBT representation at Democrat Convention
A record number of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender delegates have joined the Democratic National Convention, currently underway in Boston.
According to The Advocate 236 GLBT representatives are attending the Convention.
Most have signalled their support for Democratic candidate John Kerry, despite Kerry’s lack of support for same-sex marriage.
“He’s a hell of a lot better than Bush,” Bonnie Winokar told The Advocate.
