Strokes kick off season with win

Sydney’s LGBTI dragon boat racing club, the Different Strokes, kicked off its 2012-13 season with a Premier Mixed B Final win.

The first regatta of the race season was held last Sunday at the Sydney International Regatta Centre.

The club beat other teams from around the state to claim victory. The Premier Women and Premier Opens crew also faired well in their heats.

The women won the first round, with the Opens team placing second in the second round of heats.
