Swim to the pub

The world’s largest open water swim, set on the Great Ocean Rd in Lorne, Victoria is celebrating its 30th anniversary on Saturday, January 9.
The nib Lorne Pier to Pub began in 1981 as a dare between Lorne Surf Club members who dived in from the pier and raced through Loutit Bay to finish up at the Lorne Pub.
All proceeds from the nib Lorne Pier to Pub go towards the Lorne Surf Life Saving Club to assist in the club’s voluntary life-saving activities including member training and to maintain the club house and equipment.

info: Entries are now open for the 2010 nib Lorne Pier to Pub. To register visit www.lornesurfclub.com.au
