The Potbelleez – Destination Now
Irish/Australian dance outfit The Potbelleez sophomore album is a marked improvement on their patchy debut, thanks in no small part to the band teaming up with Paul Mac for production and songwriting duties and better utilising their secret weapon, fem-C Blu. Sure, frontman Ilan Kidron’s soaring vocals are as strong as ever on tracks like Hello and current hit single From The Music, but Blu truly shines on gems like the early ’90s house-flavoured Feels Real Good, which sounds like a lost Rozalla/Robin S classic.
