Star Observer Rainbow Express

1. Promoter

The promoter is Out Publications (ABN 41 634 037 175) of PO Box 843 Broadway 2007 (Promoter).

2. Promotion Period

The promotion opens at 12:00am AEDT on 10 February 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 24 February 2026 (Promotion Period).

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to residents of New South Wales aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Promoter and any agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

4. Entry Method

Entry is free. No purchase or payment is required.

To enter, eligible entrants must subscribe to the Promoter’s free email newsletter during the Promotion Period via the official competition entry form.

Entrants may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Unsubscribing after entry does not
invalidate an entry.

Only one entry per person is permitted.

5. Prize

The prize consists of two (2) tickets to the Rainbow Express: The Colourful Ride to Rainbow Festival Orange 2026, including:

• Return economy train travel from Sydney to Orange, departing Friday 6 March 2026 and returning Sunday 8 March 2026
• Onboard entertainment hosted by a drag queen MC
• One welcome drink per person
• Festival goodies
• Access to Rainbow Festival fringe events as outlined by the event organiser

The prize does not include accommodation, meals (other than those expressly stated), transfers outside the stated train journey, travel insurance, or any other incidental expenses.

6. Accessibility

The Promoter discloses that the specific Rainbow Express carriage included in the prize is
not accessible due to design limitations. An accessible carriage may be available on the train but is not included as part of the prize.

Entrants are responsible for assessing whether the prize meets their accessibility requirements prior to entry.

7. Prize Conditions

Prize dates and travel times are fixed and cannot be changed.

The prize is not transferable, not exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.

If the winner is unable to attend on the specified dates, the prize will be forfeited and a redraw may occur.

8. Draw and Winner Notification

The winner will be drawn at random on Wednesday 25 February 2026 at midday AEDT.

The winner will be notified by email within 2 days of the draw.

If the winner does not respond within 3 days of being notified, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw.

9. Permit

A permit is not required for this promotion under New South Wales law as the total prize pool is under AUD $10,000.

10. Privacy

By entering, entrants consent to the collection and use of their personal information by the Promoter for the purposes of administering this promotion and in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

Email addresses collected may be used for newsletter communications. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from participation in the promotion or acceptance or use of the prize.

The Promoter is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers, including transport operators, venues, or event organisers.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights under Australian Consumer Law.

12. General

The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms & Conditions.

The Promoter may cancel, suspend, or modify the promotion if events beyond its reasonable control compromise the promotion’s fairness or integrity.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
